Tatu to become new Russian President? | | from Sky News:
Tatu singers Yulia Volkova and Lena Katina are jointly running to become Russia's new president.
The lesbian stars are set to do battle with current leader Vladimir Putin during March's elections.
A spokeswoman for the band told The Sun: "Tatu are running together. We cannot separate the girls.
"We are going to collect signatures in support of proposing them as a candidate in the president elections."
One obstacle in their way is a rule stating candidates must be aged at least 35; Yulia is aged 18 and Lena 19.
They are expected to use their combined age of 37 to overcome the rule. |
