Basically, God is judge, jury, prosecutor and executioner. What He says goes. Everyone sins. You have sinned. (I mean anyone reading this thread...and this response now....yes YOU). If you've ever done ONE bad thing in your life but not even any others...guess what?....you're a sinner
Now, if you go around judging others badly on their sins, what do you think God will do? He will come right back around and judge your very own sins with as harsh a tone as you have been judging others with,...with the huge difference that God actually has the power to make your eternity a living hell if He so chooses. Don't like the sound of that?....then try not to judge! Basically, you are judged by God not only on what it is that you have done but, also, on HOW you judge others....and if you judge others very harshly, you'll be judged by God harshly. If you judge others as only human and will make mistakes and you forgive/etc....well....then God will forgive you (provided you ask). See what I'm saying? |

"Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye."
Basically that is just dealing with hypocrites who judge others for doing the same things as themselves. Judging is supposed to be a part of Christianity. After all, Christians are supposed to judge between good and evil. And that includes people too. Some people like murderers should be judged harshly. True, everyone is a sinner ,but that is why there is repentance and atonement. If you repent and atone for your sins and try your hardest to avoid repeating them, then you can judge somebody for doing something you did without being a hypocrite. |

Circumcision was only required in the old testament it is no longer required since Jesus was the sacrafice for one and all times. But it is wise to still get for hygein reasons but if they are not circumcised they aren't going to hell.
And this is a Christian nation and YES IT IS no matter what the hell you say about that. ALL of our forfathers who signed/and wrote the Constitution were CHRISTIANS this nation WAS founded on CHRISTIANITY. And what did they use to write that Constitution?? How did they decide what would be law? From the BIBLE!!!! And the reason we are the super power of super powers is because we follow Gods laws on how to do things. *AND THAT IS IN THE BIBLE* it explains why we are the super power of super powers and that we are the hidden ones and that we are a blessing to other nations because he blesses us for remembering him, and we bless other nations along the way.
So yes if our government makes it a law to have gay marriages openly and freely which is an Abomination to God, all hell is going to hit the fan and that is the truth. Marriage is Sacred!! (It is a Christian Sacrament, there are 7 and that is one of them!!!) And yes we will have some to answer for if we allow this to happen. That is why I am voting GEORGE BUSH for the next election!! Because that is our part in stopping this.
And no matter how you all think that you are getting us to accept your views on gay marriage it NEVER will change Gods views of it.
You can believe whatever you want, but you will never change our views on gay marriages either. And it is a big frickin waste of time to discuss this on a messageboard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | i completley agree.. This nation was founded on the teachings of Judeo-Christian laws such as the ten comandments.. Looks around... *shakes head* Im disgusted by what you people are going through to blast someones opinion..
ONE WORD... SECULARISM |

If you can't discuss things rationally and reasonably, especially on a message board, then you shouldn't discuss things at all. |

Don't you have a life of your own to worry about instead? I don't get it. Why must man always have the urge to control other people's lives? This all reminds me of the slavery days. And Hitler too, who was convinced that all Jews were bad people. This is 2004, guys. Not 1940. Damn, heh. |

| Not yet, no. But seeing as it's worldwide known that "Christians" so to speak, have a tendency to interfere in the personal business of homosexual people, soon enough a gay-Hitler-like maniac will rise and declare war to all Christians.
It's like this. You can try to push the chicken back into the egg as much as you want, but the chicken will not disappear. And if you keep pushing the chicken hard enough, and long enough, the chicken will become frustrated and eventually it will shatter the entire egg.
Do not underestimate the power of people when it comes to making them believe you're messing with their freedom while they believe they don't deserve such treatment. A huge percentage of the world population already backs them in regards to their rights for marriage. If Christians want to fight this until the bitter end, all it takes is for one maniac to rise up, and you have a possible world war on your hands. heh.
Many people will look at that and say 'impossible'. But what isn't possible, has never happened yet...
Eventually, all people will have to accept the fact that homosexuals are here, and want to be part of our society. They aren't asking for that much. If they want to get married in a Christian church, that's asking for a bit too much, but if they do it elsewhere, where certain religions aren't being offended by their presence, I believe there's a place in this world for everyone. |
