Eating pork is a sin against your flesh, it is not a sin that will send you to hell but if you eat it you will become sick at some point or another.

Circumcision was only required in the old testament it is no longer required since Jesus was the sacrafice for one and all times. But it is wise to still get for hygein reasons but if they are not circumcised they aren't going to hell.

And this is a Christian nation and YES IT IS no matter what the hell you say about that. ALL of our forfathers who signed/and wrote the Constitution were CHRISTIANS this nation WAS founded on CHRISTIANITY. And what did they use to write that Constitution?? How did they decide what would be law? From the BIBLE!!!! And the reason we are the super power of super powers is because we follow Gods laws on how to do things. *AND THAT IS IN THE BIBLE* it explains why we are the super power of super powers and that we are the hidden ones and that we are a blessing to other nations because he blesses us for remembering him, and we bless other nations along the way.

So yes if our government makes it a law to have gay marriages openly and freely which is an Abomination to God, all hell is going to hit the fan and that is the truth. Marriage is Sacred!! (It is a Christian Sacrament, there are 7 and that is one of them!!!) And yes we will have some to answer for if we allow this to happen. That is why I am voting GEORGE BUSH for the next election!! Because that is our part in stopping this.

And no matter how you all think that you are getting us to accept your views on gay marriage it NEVER will change Gods views of it.

That is fine if you believe that, however now your challenge is to find that in the Constitution. The Constitution doesn't mention Christianity nor does it set up a theocratic nation. So while you may believe that, you have no basis to make that law.

There is a HUGE difference between married and unmarried couples. If one person in the relationship is in the hospital then the unmarried spouse cannot make necessary decisions or even visit the person. There are also lots of other benefits like insurance that marriage brings.

Look at the pregnancy and STD rates, obviously gays aren't the only ones getting busy.

If anything this country is turning more to the right. Look at Janet Jackson for one. Another would be how the goverment is raping the Constitution by throwing out the protections to private citizens from govermental prying eyes. Miscegenation used to be illegal and people said that it was unBiblicial and would never be accepted. Then it became legal and for the most part is accepted today. Gay marriage may remain unacceptable to you because of your beliefs but you also have to recognize the beliefs and needs of others.

People may give lipservice about how sacred marriage ,but as a society they don't practice it even without gays marrying. Look at politicians like Newt Gingrich, Henry Hyde, Clinton, Bob Barr, et al. Britney even fits into that category. Never look to a politician as a bearer of morality. Bush is only supporting the gay marriage ban amendment to mask the ongoing failure in Iraq. It is an election year ploy.

I'm a deist, so needless to say my view of God differs from yours. Nobody can say with absolute certainty that their view is the only correct one. Unless of course, he/she/it is God.

A Civil Union is not a marriage that is why it's not called a marriage. George Bush already said they could have a civil union but don't try and call it a marriage because that is a Christian Sarament!!! for the most part majority rules in this country. if the majority of people don't want it, then it won't happen. therefore if those in the minorty want it, they should go where it is allowable. that system has been in effect for a very long time

Who says this is a Christian nation? The reason YOUR forefathers came over here(I'm native American so my ancestors were already here) was because they were religiously persecuted in England. this country was founded on the principle of religous freedom for all. And for some, that means to not be persucuted for NOT being Christian and beleiving in those principles. As for that whole "super power" trip, the United States was not always the largest super power, and I'm sure the fact that it is has nothing to do with the Bible.
