Well I'm busy getting lectured by professors who end up screwing me over in the end, only to come around here and have more lectures and problems on my hands.

In America everyone wants their voice/opinion/say. That's one of the foundations here. You take the good and the bad that comes with it. No matter what, there is always going to be someone who does agree and all that, but depending on the situation, context, and strength of the individual's thoughts and feelings, there will always be controversy in America. Sometimes I swear people just want/need something to argue and fight about.

Dynamics are different in big groups. That's where i think the difference comes into play the most.

I think you're right, yes. One would think that their loyalty to God would set them at a more peaceful level and have them wish for the same as you and I do though, heh. Perhaps it is the religion itself that stands in the way, or just the nature of their individual pesonalities... Either way it is, it surprised me a lot to see these of all people, to act up like that.

In this case, yes. The difference is that certain things you just don't say to a girl/woman, heh. And that's one of those things. Even though in actuality, signs of utmost sensitivity and unique pickiness can be caused by that PMS, you are not absolutely sure if said female is 1. a subject to that sort of thing, and 2. acting the way you describe because of whatever physical problems she might be experiencing. In most cases, assuming and then stating the potential root of your observations is not your business, nor the place to bring to light, and does nothing but create an offensive type of debate drifting away from the topic at hand, and absolutely undermine any chances of keeping up a normal debate, opening the door for a potential fight to those who love it.

Gotta love the grammar structure of English. I have a much harder time creating such lengthy sentences in Dutch.

But the bottom line is, know your limits.

Bah. Seems to be all the same crap going on in the schooling system over there. I've heard a lot more about professors screwing over students and shit. No fun.

Maybe frustration over that might be influencing your state of mind somewhat, upon people here in the form of stabby like comments every so often. I didn't see anything wrong with your first statement though. I guess it just fell wrong with the receiver, heh. Shit happens.

Nope, I was talking about the tolerance in the rules in general.

You don't neccessarily have to be politically correct all the time just to satisfy the receiver's tolerance level, but moreso refrain from adding previously described comments to the debate. There's still this slight difference in saying like it is, and saying what you think. That difference is mostly depending on your own mood at said time, pretty much.

I've told more guys in my life that they have PMS than girls just for that reason.

But lately I have been ignoring all of these special distinctions. I'm finding less and less reasons to treat different people differently.

Not necessarily. I can wish death on Bob Hobekab who lives in Turkey and have no reason to do so.

I think I'm just as impatient with the human race as before.

In some ways I was more stressed in high school and I didn't get jumped on like this before. There's more life stress now than in high school, but less academic stress (but more TAs and professors screwing you; in high school I had mostly fair teachers). Meh whatever.
