Quite a good article.
The Marriage Of Prince Charles And Camilla Parker Bowles
By Brian Edward Scott Sr.
I wish the Royal couple well on their journey together as man and wife. It is surprising to me how many people are laughing and scoffing about the marriage of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles. Of course, there are the usual judgmental remarks also. I am talking about the remarks about this relationship between the two; of being the final solidification of a lowly, adulterous affair. An affair that was burning at the time the beloved and ‘angelic’ Princes Diana was still married to Prince Charles. This sarcasm is coming not only from the public, but is being fueled by many in the media.
I do not understand all of the feeling of harshness against the union. It really tickles me how people can become so self- righteous in their attitudes concerning the imperfections in others lives, as if their own lives were lived without blemish. Since this is a union of two people supposedly in love, why would it raise so much opposition?
Prince Charles said of his marriage, “I’m tired of doing what other people want me to do; for once I’m going to do what makes me happy.” This should be all that matters on both sides of the pond. Two people are professing to be happy and in love. That is saying much in a world where love and happiness are elusive.
Prince Charles and Camilla most likely will live the rest of their lives in love and happiness. That is more than can be said I would guess for those that are making fun of the union. Most of those that are making light of the marriage are commoners. Those people that will never in their wildest dreams live the lives that these two wealthy people will live. The Royal couple do not have the worries that most other people have, such as the price of gas, the price of food, will the boss be happy with my work, and will I be fired tomorrow. Charles and Camille do not have to schedule time to see each other because of sorry, demanding jobs that most of the scoffers have. They can go to any store, and if either one sees something that might delight the other, they can simply buy it, with no concern over price. They do not have to worry if doing so will throw the monthly budget out of whack. They do not have to worry about sending their kids to some drug infested high school where some stupid and empty moron dreams of shooting fellow students and teachers. I am only guessing, but I bet they do not worry about the price of healthcare either. Those that have been scoffing at their marriage worry about these things.
I have another news flash too. Princes Diana is dead and will not be returning. Although she was a good woman and mother, she was no angel or saint. There are no such animals in my book as angels or saints anyway. She had her flaws as all human beings have. It is terrible the way that Princes Diana had to die, but that is the way things are, and life must continue.
Camilla does not have the looks of Diana, but she is still attractive for her age. Most importantly though, Prince Charles obviously finds her attractive and that is all that matters. No one else is married to Camilla but Prince Charles. I hope they have a lifetime of happiness. |
