But you do have to stand to show respects. I dont know if that is a federal law, but its a state law here. You could always skip the "Under God" part. No need to change the Constitution over it. |

I never knew of the anti American thing, Though he is the head of the Catholic Church, I guess what some people may think is there are more to the world than just the US. | |

I find it odd how he calls us a nation of the "Devil" when there are a whole lot of conservatives living here. I dont know.. If he is the POPE and a HIGH OFFICIAL of a Church, then he shouldn't hate/dislake us. Even though Europe's government is more secular than America is. | |

Whatever, he is entitled to his opinion. A lot of people in America don't like America as it is. And I'm sure there are atheists in Europe as well. | |
