Hey says, that he thinks America is a secular nation and a nation of Death. Hes seen the movies made here, music, ect. And he says we side with evil because of the movies we watch to and the songs we listen to. He has the wrong Idea of us, and he thinks everyone in America is all like that. What he doesn't know is that Hollywood is a seperate country from the rest of America.

Hollywood makes films based on common interest given by Americans, so I kind of think his assumption is justifiable. However, it's not fair to say we're on evil's side, because we enjoy a good story.

Very true. Hollywood goes by what people are interested at the time. When people were into Westerns the film industry was flooded with them. When people are into horror, you get a lot of horror movies. Before movies are released they have the test screenings and see how they go over with a wide variety of people, and then make changes based on that. (well some do, I don't know about all of them). So to say that Hollywood is seperate from the rest of America is not really accurate IMO, because the film industry is a money maker and they are not going to put out movies that don't reflect America's intrests. Would be bad buisness.

Well, what I was trying to say is that Hollywood is AMERICAN culture. Hollywood represents us on a worldwide basis. I mean, as much as I wouldn't want it to, it does. And also, such organizations as the ACLU, who sue Christians and only christians or anything that roots back to Christianity. As much as a lot of Americans disagree with the ACLU, Its still called the American Civil Liberties Union. Which is why hes got the wrong idea.

Well, They sued a Mall, who had a Cresent and Star, A Star of David and a Cross. They sued the Mall and told them to take the Cross flag down, and not the other ones.

They sued L.A for having a Woman holding a Cross on the seal, but ignoring a Peagan symbol on it.

The 'Under God', under the pledge of Allegiance, ect. All of their most famous cases are against Christianity.

how is Art of our films evil? Sure there are some satanistic themes going on but it's just art. Not many are going to watch the Blair Witch project and try to go finding a witch in their woods. Or watch Harry Potter and become a satanist. lol. Dont take it seriously.

I definitely see the representation factor. This Pope has no other meaning to go by, which I kind of think is lame on his part. He should discover America's personality through visitation, not what we produce.

Links?

I believe the main thing with the pledge of allegiance was to make sure that everyone wasn't FORCED to say it, which is how it should be.
