Here's some photos I snapped earlier of the rising surf and surge, here in Panama City Beach. I'll take more on Monday because we anticipate them being much bigger and more of a problem. Keep in mind, the plants are RIGHT on the road almost, and the surf is up to the plants. We usually have about 300 feet outward of sand before you get to the water, so you can just imagine...
I have been watching CNN this morning since 6:30am and it was just starting and now its going away wow it has done alot of things then, lets hope Kat you are alright, but that freaks me out thank god that I live in Canada we are suppose to get the left overs of Katrina during this week but nothing major so yeah, i hope everyone who stayed in New Orleans and somwhere else is alright.
What's up? We finally got our power back here in Panama City Beach, FL after being off for about 8 hours. The wind is still extremely gusty and the weather is rather cloudy with a few showers. I drove out to the coastline to take some more photos and found out our town's oldest structure, the County Pier, the panhandle's longest pier, was destroyed. Take a look at these.
