I think its the right thing they did. Iraqi people wouldnt believe em (and some of them still dont) when they said they killed sadams's sons without showing any prove. and i dont think those pics are that horrible. What those man did is more horrible then to see them dead for me.

well, its hot news and when somebody is saying on the tv there are pics of those man.. im sure alot of people are curious to see them. So what do the newspapers do? they think of a way to get alot of money. And im sure a newspaper who doesnt have the pics will sell alot less copies then a newspaper who does have the pics. thats all about money.

Everybody is chanting at the woman being thrown into the fire. BURN BURN BURN!! As the woman is being carried over to the fire place the guy with the loudest mouth shouts "Yeah that's right you bitch, you're gonna burn and we're gonna party!!"

And so the guy joins the woman among the flames.

To me it depends on what they did. If these sons have slaughtered other people themselves, then in my book they lose all their human rights as well as their diginity.

But, if they were just citizens who were good people regardless of who their father is then no way that should be published in any form.


But to publish that stuff on newspapers is beyond limits because children shouldn't be exposed to that stuff, hell it could give them nightmares... As you said it's barbaric, but it seems people are okay with it when the underlying thought is different. A pic of a man with fake blood on his face is terrible, but this can be published on every newspaper in town. Yeah right. I don't think it's fair.

horrible pictures have been published for as long as photography has existed. There are horrible pictures from every war. What makes these guys so special that just they shouldn't be published? There is nothing unethical about showing what happened, what we have to decide is "is what happened ethical?" and showing the pictures of what happened is the way to do this. It is the media's responisbility to accuratly portray what happens....even if it is a bad thing that happened. Some may celebrate their deaths, but it is not thru the photos that this will be done.

personally i believe that we have a right to see it, it's our way of closure and if some people see this, it's automatically like, "good, this is another sign things are coming closer to ending"....it's just one of those things that's fair
