No it doesn't honey. It costs a fair ammount of money for appeal processes and stuff even when they know that they've been found and convicted. But other than that it doesn't. Take that B*stard Ian Huntley from over here. You any idea how much it will cost to keep his sentence?

No they took a live so its the cowards way out to just end theirs. these people dont care about dying. They should be made to serve their sentence out.

Hmm...maybe where you live? I researched this a few years ago and everything I found said executing was more expensive...at least in the US.

Well excecution is an option in the US but not the UK. That must explain the tax cost difference.

The way I see it, Scott ended Lacy's life. Lacy was the lucky one when you consider the kind of emotional torture her family and friends and the entire nation have been put through because of him. So, with that in mind, Scott should have to bare an equal amount of torture on him that he gave everyone else. I say chain him to a wall and do whatever they want to the bastard. Whip chains at him, burn him with hot coals, whatever tickles their fancy.

I count myself as a Roman Catholic actually. The likes of Ian Huntley dont care, He has all the perks in prison.
