Indeed. It's insane. If I where the boss of a country and something happend like this to 'my' people, I would immediatly stop with what I am doing and organize a plan to save the people who need help. Guess Bush doesnt like to interrupt his own party.

One thing is for sure: I am SO happy I dont have to live with a president like that.

Also brings me back to how slow he was to deal with the whole September 11th Tragedy.

Yeah the hurricane wasn't his fault, but cutting back on preperation on crap like this and helping too little too late! WTF. He himself said that the government wasnt doing a good enough job. Aren't you the president? The control of the army? You order them to help them!

People like Michael Moore are always there in times of tradgedy yes. But at least they are there! Unlike some people like the government!

Though, I don't appreciate Moore's sarcastic tone in the letter. Maybe he should criticize some others for a change besides Bush. I mean he's just a pawn on the ches set of the corrupt government.

They're not there because they care, they're there to enlist vounerable people into their agenda by blaming everything on the white house. I hope you know that.

You know just by saying that you are doing the same thing they are doing. Say something as a fact without given proof.

I'm just saying they are there. Sure, I don't agree really with any criticism like this letter right now. Right now it's time for help. Time for scrutiny is later. But they are there and a lot of times they do help. And it's the victims of the tragedy themselves who are yelling at the government the most. Not people like Moore. They aren't being fed 3rd hand, probably altered, info from someone. They're being fed nothing. They are first hand victims and they are yelling at the government. That is sad.

M. Moore and Bush are both liars. Do u honestly think that everything Moore put in Fah. 9-11 was entirely true? HE HATES BUSH, so of course hes going to overdramatize EVERYTHING. I respect him however, but i also find him annoying. But i hate Bush. And its not just Bush's fault for the lack of help, its also the Governer of LA's fault as well for not declaring emergency earlier.

One of the guys in my apartment works at a radio station and he was saying he heard on a news report that actually Bush contacted them saying he'd send troops and help but they didn't want them at the time. CONSTITUTIONALLY the United States Government cannot send troops into a state unless that state asks or acepts them. the government can get involved in disputes between states but not within unless the state comes to it.

ps i really didn't read most of the thread but this kinda applies
