Read this on Sky News:

A man has been convicted of infecting two women with the HIV virus.

In a legal first, Mohammed Dica, 38, was found guilty by a jury at Inner London Crown Court of two counts of "biological" grievous bodily harm.

Dica, of Mitcham, Surrey, had denied the charges, telling police that both women had known of his condition before going to bed with him.

It was alleged that the father-of-three conned the first woman into having unprotected sex by claiming he had had a vasectomy. He then wooed a mother of two with declarations of love.

Dica's conviction is the first successful prosecution in England and Wales for sexually transmitting a disease for 137 years.

In a statement read outside court, one of the victims said: "He has devastated my life."

After the case, police said they think Dica has claimed more victims who have not yet come forward.

Of the women who went to police, Det Sgt Jo Goodall said: "They are incredibly brave women. Neither thought they would get the support of the judicial system.

"These women were not promiscuous," she said.

"Dica had know for many years he had the condition yet he still had sex with them.

"He was reckless and self-gratifying but we don't really know why he did it. That is something the victims ask themselves every day."

Its just sick when HIV infected people have sex without telling people they are infected.

If I would get infected by a guy that knew and didn't tell me I just wouldn't know what I would do. I would get so mad I would probably attack him and do some serious damage to him if not kill him.

Don't get me wrong most of the time when something happens I would do something like take legal action. Just when its something as mean as infecting a person with HIV for your own orgasm I would just get so mad.

see that's disturbing and he should have told them before that he was infected, but he may have. but still that's horrible to have to have happen to them.

I know why he did it. He did it because he wanted to have sex with them and he didn't think they would want to if they knew he had AIDS (and quite right, at that).

He was just being selfish and wanting sex for himself, regardless of what it would do for/to others. Actions like these are probably how he ended up getting AIDS in the first place!

well not really because you can have HIV for like 10 years without knowing it.

I think most people get infected by people that don't know yet.
