| I live in Denmark
But I am not scared, I can't go around being scared. Making it affect my life. I am sad that the goverments choices has to affect the public, because our primeminister sent out troops to Iraq. More than 50% of Denmark thought that it was wrong. He did it anyway. I don't get it, never will.
Now we just need to be extra careful towards attacks, and then I don't know. I think its a sad world we live in now. Nothing we can do now will be right? |

. | No, the IRA always send a warning 10minutes before they do. ALWAYS.
And it doesn't seem like al queada's style either.
It reminds me of the madrid terrorist attack last year (Was it?) very similar.
So sad heard about it at 10am, very sad. Especially after the huge celebrations we had yesterday... |

| It's all very... on the one hand we all knew it was to come sooner or later... I was asleep yesterday morning, alone in the house as usual, and the house phone was going over and over and over and over. I didnt answer because I didnt recognise the number on the screen of the phone. Anyway it rang again, so I knew I had to answer it. It was my mum. "Have you seen the news? Put it on. There have been bombs in london." Oh my god.... I sat watching the news gettng all of the information in...
The thing that shook me a little, was thefact that I was sleeping in late due to having JUST gotten back from a trip to London the day before. BUT, we had originally arranged for me to travel to London yesterday... the 7th... my train would have pulled in at the time one of the bombs went off... this shook me a great deal. The trip to London meant me travelling alone, as I was meeting up with an online friend of mine. I already had a big fear of trains, but I was terrified of the Unerground... and I had to travel on the tube despite my fear. Now with the bombings....well this is why I was so afraid of travelling on the underground. Hmm my mum got a bit worried. When she called she said she was glad I came home early. *sigh* What kind of world are we living in? When I heard the news the first thing I thought of was to check on Lu and her family, (Lu is the friend I was meeting up with, and I stayed with her and her family). Argh whenever something happens, a disaster.. I always have people I care about in danger. The Tsunami that hit Sri lanka on Boxing Day.. well my good friend Roshan was over there with his family, and I was SO worried about him. I had friends in New York at the time of 9/11.. and now the London bombings. Argh!
Well London is certainly the focus around the world at the moment. First the Olympic bid, now this. I just hate that people have been killed becuase of this...
Most of the stations, train and tube, have been opened up again this morning, all but Kings Cross i believe. The bus service i think is up and running, though with some limitations... there was an evacuation of Euston Station this morning at 8.30am, due to a security alert, but it was resolved...
The attack yesterday claimed lives... killed innocent victims, butchered and scarred hundreds more... and why? Terrorism is an ugly, souless act of murderous intent. By taking the lives of those who are no longer with us today, they have achieved nothing in their sick, demented goal. If anything, we will fight back even stronger than before. You only have to look at the USA's pogress and current stance with such threats after 9/11.
We will wipe out terrorism. Just like yesterday's tragic events... it is not a matter of if, but when. Until then, we must mark yet another tragic date in our minds and hearts, and remember those of us who were not fortunate to see the sun rise this morning... |

| I have no words for it, its such an awfull thing again. Its always the innocent people that they attack. Its good to see the people continue with their lives and dont let fear for terrorism take over. THats the best thing to do.
I agree with what said above.. Iraq shouldve never been attacked. These terrorism organisations are far more needed to be attacked then Iraq.
But you know, to choose between people and oil is such a hard decision [/sarcasm] |

If you had been living in a basement the last couple of days, you'd almost think this is an unreal picture. Unfortunately it's not. |

| Those pictures are on the Dutch newspaper today. It's all sad, very sad. Quote: Originally posted by ForeverInLoveWithJus How can you forget something like this? | You don't.
In today's newspaper there's also an interview with a person who witnessed the WTC attack on 9/11 and who also was in London yesterday morning! Can you believe it, you witness such a catastrophic happening twice!

| I can believe it easily. I heard a group of students were in London and were at the WTC when it happened and now in London, just beside where it happened. |

Nation of Islam and Arab nation: Rejoice for it is time to take revenge against the British Zionist Crusader government in retaliation for the massacres Britain is committing in Iraq and Afghanistan. The heroic mujahideen have carried out a blessed raid in London. Britain is now burning with fear, terror and panic in its northern, southern, eastern, and western quarters.
We have repeatedly warned the British Government and people. We have fulfilled our promise and carried out our blessed military raid in Britain after our mujahideen exerted strenuous efforts over a long period of time to ensure the success of the raid.
We continue to warn the governments of Denmark and Italy and all the Crusader governments that they will be punished in the same way if they do not withdraw their troops from Iraq and Afghanistan. He who warns is excused.
God says: "You who believe: If ye will aid (the cause of) Allah, He will aid you, and plant your feet firmly."
I fear for Denmark and Italy now | What the FUCK? I seriously wanna beat the shit out of these guys. How DARE they claim that Allah asks us to commit actions like these? The Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) is looked up to because he is an "undaunted fighter", he is looked up to because he spread Islam through peace and dignity. How can these shitheads think they are doing the right thing.
I can't even believe something like that even hapened in London, it's so sad. I was watching CNN and it looked so unreal, it's unbelievable. My condolences go out to the families and lives hurt by this wrong attack.
Also, here is a statement given by the Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago: Quote:
Chicago Muslims Condemn Terrorist Attacks in London and Call on Mosques Worldwide to Pray for Victims of London Terrorist Attacks During Friday prayer
Chicago, IL – July 7, 2005 – The Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago today unequivocally condemned the attacks that terrorized London this morning.
Council Chairman, Abdul Malik Mujahid, called the brutal crimes an "affront to Islam."
"We condemn this brutality in the strongest terms," Mujahid said. "These attacks are an affront to Islam and to Muslims all over the world including Muslim in America. They are in no way a reflection of Islamic teachings, which order Muslims to preserve and protect life."
“This is why I would like to request all mosques in North America, England and the world to pray for the victims of this tragedy during Friday prayers tomorrow. We would also like to request that Imams offer Friday sermons about the sanctity of life in Islam and the heinousness of terrorism.”
Mujahid added that he and the Council offer their sincerest condolences and prayers to the families of all who have been affected by these evil attacks.
