When I first heard about today's decision I thought they should've given him life with no parole so that he can live in prison suffering in there for the rest of his life, but then they said that California is sooo slow with their death row he'd prolly die of old age anyways.

The way the jurors described his reactions throughout the trial, verdict and todays decison makes me sick.

Yeah, he could be on death row for 20 years or more. It's ridiculous.

I read about this. He could actually chose to forgo his appeals and just get the death penalty , but I'm sure he won't. I don't know if they should have convicted on the basis of "he showed no remorse". A lot of people hide their emotions, because they think by exposing them they look weak. Noone knows what is going on in his head. I would have liked a few more actual facts for a death sentance. None of the evidance against him was conclusive enough for me.

I never saw or read about him giggling ?? All I read is that he never showed any remorse/emotion. Hey , I 'm not defending the guy. He got what he deserved.I"m just iffy on one juror saying they gave him the death penalty because he never showed emotion.

I do giggle when I'm nervous though. Bad habit.

^Not that I've heard.... and if it's 20 years from now we probably won't be interested in it anymore anyway...

I never heard of him giggling, but I have seen footage of him kind of chuckling about things in the court room... don't know what was being said when he did it though.. not that there's any excuse to be smiling at all when you're on trial for killing your pregnant wife...
