We'd say the same for you.
The BIBLE isn't this country's founding law maker even though certain people in power wish for it to be.

Well.. there are different arguements to that story... I have mine, you have yours. I dont wanna make this a religous thread and have it closed.

Look, you shouldn't change a law, just because 1 judge says so. Women who wanted voting rights got together and it took them a really long time to change the consitution. They didn't do it by 1 judge. I did my research and it turn out that in 2000, Californian law makers proposed a proposition to protect marrige laws and define marrige as 1 man and one woman.. 61 or 62% Of the voters were for it, so the law was dropped. Its been only 5 years, I dont think there would be much to change a 30% landslide

Wow. You sound almost like you're saying you disagree with a woman's right to vote. Careful with your words, George.

Whatchu talkin about Willis?

Im for womens voting rights, Im for everyone's voting rights..All Im saying, is that women voters organized and protested and did everything possible to get their chance. If a gay person wants to get married, he or she shouldn't rely on a judge. Thats all Im saying.

They aren't. They're very well protesting but people are shutting them down.

Forbidden according to a book. Whoopee. Just because IT says it is forbidden doesn't make it the truth.

Well, it also sounds like you disagree with any changes being made to the constitution. Do you think it's flawless or sum'mit?

1 judge in your country, and a couple of continents supporting that judge...

Well, 20 years ago people didn't even imagine gays marrying now.. guess what? 20 Years passed, and now they are demanding marrige rights... Who knows maybe poligamists are next.. If you dont draw the line somewhere, you're not gonna be able to draw the line at all.. If you let them go, you're gonna let everyone go. You never know what the future holds.. and trust me, nothings gonna get better..
If you want "the world" to become a better place, perhaps it would be a good idea for you Americans to start learning how to mind your own damn business and stop trying to rule the lives of others.

All this crap you guys are pulling is just going to result into another civil war, cause the gays aren't going to keep taking this crap forever. And that'll start messing with the economy once again, and so you'll be pissing off a lot more countries with this stupidity.

And because of this, your government will never let this ban on gay marriage happen, because it will hurt their treaty with other countries. The Bush administration just swayed into that direction to get your vote. And in case they will let it happen, then you might as well prepare for another attack, heh.
