Jesse Metcalfe was reportedly dumped by girlfriend Nadine Coyle because she had grown tired of his jealous rages.
The Girls Aloud singer ended the pair's relationship last week after the 'Desperate Housewives' actor was photographed sharing a passionate embrace with another girl.
However, sources claim the couple's relationship had been on the rocks for weeks, with the problems triggered by a series of blazing rows over Jesse's alleged possessive behaviour.
One source told the News of the World newspaper: "Nadine dumped Jesse because he's a complete control freak. He would cause huge rows and Nadine would back down, trying to make a joke of it at first. But it was constant and in the end drove a wedge between them."
Friends of the former couple - who started dating 14 months ago - also claim Jesse couldn't cope with Nadine being more famous than him.
He allegedly was left furious when a British fan asked Nadine for her autograph while they were in Los Angeles and ignored him.
Last month, it was claimed Jesse was ready to propose to Nadine - who had stuck by him during his recent stay in rehab to be treated for alcoholism. |
