Did you hear about this story, This florida girl aged 13 wants to have an abortion but she isnt allowed as the judge doesnt think she is mature enough to make that decision.
Thats wrong to me, if she wants and has made that decision that she doesnt want the baby, its her choice. If her family support her, then let her do what she wishes, forcing her to have a baby that she doesnt want is wrong to me. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/4500245.stm |

Wow. A 13 year old pregnant. I think she should have the abortion too, if that's what she and her family wishes. | |

So she's too young and immature to make a big medical decision like an abortion but hey...she's perfectly capable of being a mom!! *rolls eyes* I think that's a little screwed up. It would probably be for the best if she did have an abortion...unless her parents are planning on raising the child and taking full responsibility or they are adopting it out? But clearly the girl doesn't want to have the child soo...I dunno. Does it ever mention how she got pregnant? Was it just with her BF or was she rapped or something? | |

I used to work in a maternity hospital and I have seen plenty of girls pregnant at 8 yrs old. Anyway, I think if she wants to have an abortion, she is old enough to get pregnant and old enough to make her mind up about what she wants to do. | |

Hopefully they will put the child up for adoption or something..cause at 13 I can't think that she'd be prepared to raise a child. I hadn't had my first KISS at 13, my how kids are different these days. | |

I think if she does have to have it, She may give it up for adoption, I hope the baby goes to a nice home. | |
