I said:

And you said it does.

BUT if thats true.. freedom.. then why can't lesbians and Gays get married? and I'm NOT talking about in a church. I mean they believe its right. So shouldn't they be allowed to?

Here is a challenge for you:
1)How many times is Jesus or Christianity mentioned in the Declaration of Independence?
2)How many times in the Constitution?

I'll save you the effort: ZERO

A common myth is that this nation was founded on a religion, it was not. NOWHERE does it say that America is a Christian nation.
God or Creator could be anything. From the Trinity to a yellow gecko to the Big Bang. Jesus Christ doesn't have the copyright on that sorry.

Why do you think we win all of our wars I can assure you it is not only us fighting.
I'm sorry, but you are ignorant. Ever heard of Vietnam?? I'm sure that will be a newsflash to the veterans that fought over there. Besides, the "god on our side" assumption is so weak. Everyone thinks that god is "on my side, but not my enemy's". He can't be on everyone's side now can he? And isn't just a little presumptious to think that he even takes a side?

And since we have freedom of religion and all these freedoms that our military fought for! People of other beliefs come here and think we should change the whole constitution because of their freedoms. Believe me if they do we are in for a heap of trouble.
I don't see Muslims, Hindus, Witches and the like trying to force their religion on me. I see CHRISTIANS!!!! Why is it that Christians try to shove their religion down people's throats and then cry "persecution" when people rightfully reject it?!? The ONLY religion trying to add the Anti-Gay marriage plank in Congress is CHRISTIAN. You contradict yourself as well. The military fights for our freedoms yet we don't want any more freedoms if they are foreign. In other words, "i want everyone to be just like me screw those who aren't christians." Somehow, i don't see how adding freedoms can be a negative, but then again, i'm not a fundie fanatic.

It doesnt need to be mentioned. In 1787 that was the main religion of the time. So going by that what do you think?

God is on the side of whoever is right and just.

And noone is shoving it down your throat you choose to read it didn't you. Freedom of speech as well and just because it contradicts what you believe that doesn't mean that I can't say what I want. O yeah but wait you don't believe in anything so what does it matter to you what I believe anywayz?

Im sorry but it totally pisses me off when people generalize Christians as these radicals who want to change everyone into Christians and are totally unaccepting towards others. True christians are NOT like that. Im christian and I shove NOTHING down anyones throat. generaliztion like that seems to be fine when it comes to Christianity, but if you generalize gays or blacks or anything else you are prejudice.
Christianity ,just like anything else has its bad people , but please don't paint all of us Christians with the same brush. We are individuals.
By the way there is no 'witch' religion. Its called Wicca. Wiccans hate to be called 'witches'. Wicca is more about nature then spells and the like.

I agree RaInBoW_bRiTe only bad things can be said when it isn't about them. And we can't talk about our religion or what we believe in otherwise they take offence to it but we should always listen to what they have to say and not judge. We are fanatics because we believe in something other than what they do. So be it.
