His opinion doesn't have much to do with anything. It has to get through Congress first, and it's just a suggestion...it's gotta go through hundreds and hundreds of people and get their approval first. Odds of it happening are slim to none. It's just what you said, only his opinion. And he had the right to it. Personally, I don't care who you marry, just as long as you stay away from me on your wedding night!!!

i'm glad Bush took a stand and actually expressed his views on something. politicians dance around issues too much these days so they can get the most votes from either side of an arguement

Bush is a dumbass for saying what he did. I mean he should've cut the being nice crap and just admitted that he doesn't like gay people and didn't want gay marriages.

We can't find Saddam, and yet people of the same sex getting married is the issue. That's ok.

Anyway, it doesn't matter to me. Everyone has a right to stating their opinion though, and if that's how he feels...that's how he feels.
