Just been reading about it, its awful, 20 ft Tidal waves wiped out islands, villages..
So far:
Sri Lanka: 3,538 dead
Indonesia: 4,185 dead
India: 2,000 dead
Thailand: 257 dead
Malaysia: 28 dead
Maldives: 10 dead
Bangladesh: 2 dead

There's some serious activity on the Asian plateline. I wouldn't be heading out there any time soon.

Yeah, it will run much higher than that in the end, The sea is now receding and more people are being found by the minute.

The Philippines was spared from this dreadful calamity. After the many typhoons that hit us, the tsunamis would have crippled us.
I hope those who are able to help will assist the affected countries.

Ireland has pledged 1 Million Euro so far to help. I hope it gets to the people who need it.

I saw that video of the dutch guy who taped the waves.. horrible. Poor people who lost all their family.
Only 7 replies is a little dissapointing for a thread like this.. (or is that just me?)

This is such a tradgdy. I feel so bad for everyone. Hope many are safe. I even heard movie star Jet Li is missing! I hope everything turns out alright.
