| Ok, let me go bomb the hell out of your favorite buildings in your country, and kill a bunch of your citizens, and keep fucking with you because we don't follow their religion, and then tell me if you don't feel like getting rid of those who pose the same threat to you. I think it's funny that people from foreign countries have the balls to even talk shit about it, it didn't happen to you and IN your country, did it? So until it does, your opinion has no validity because it never happened to you.
And the people that are in this country that think the war wasn't necessary don't think about others and how it affected them and how they destroyed your shit. The majoirty don't know much about what was done or destroyed because they never understood why it was there, or what it SHOULD have meant to you. Anyways, BLAH and f...nevermind...that's all |

| Ya see what I don't understand is... How is it right for us to bomb other countries, but when they do shit to us back it's not right?! We get our noses into other countries business. It's no fuckin wonder most people hate our country. With the weapons that we went there to "find". That pisses me off too. We went over there. And did we find the shit that started this war? Hell no. Bush just needed a good excuse that SOME people would buy. I may be just 18 but I know a lot more than the president would think kids our age would know. Screw him. |

It's always easy to prejudge but you don't really understand it until you actually become president and have to deal with all of the shit.
Btw lucky, isolationism doesn't work, we learned that in WWII, and I for one support an active foreign policy that tries to combat threats to both our physical and economic security before those threats become realized in my cities and backyards.
Does that sound selfish? Yes? NO SHIT IT DOES, because that is the purpose of a country: to survive and defend itself. Now not everything we do is right by any means, but compared to other countries, we are just as bad if not just a bit better in how they handle themselves in foreign policy.
Realize that we didn't go in there completely for weapons. There is oil, there is also their support of suicide bombings and al-Qaeda ... blah, any stupid idiot can tell that Iraq had/has those weapons at one point or another, and it is largely their fault for making us not trust them. How else will you ensure that they dont' have it if every time you go in to "inspect" that they fuck around and play games? In my opinion, the weapons are in either Iran or Chechnya.
THe point is to not point all the blame in one direction. You just end up looking stupid, like a few people in this thread.

We didn't go there completely for weapons..? Uhm you might want to listen to what Bush said again. Because that is what he said!!!! Trust me I was glued to CNN and FOX News the WHOLE WAR! Look at the shit going on now.. Him sending troops into Liberia.. Wtf.. I don't care if he has a lot of shit on his back.. He doesn't need to get us involved in shit... Yanno.. He puts more risk on us getting attacked each time he fucks with another country.. I swear we are the most hated country in the world.. No shit! Ha. If we have weapons then any other country should be allowed.. We can use them on other countries so they should have the right to have them and use them.. |

| You are so naive. You think politicians tell THE TRUTH? Good God. There is a limited amount of resources on Earth for people to have. From that, either peaceful free trade will emerge, or an economic or violent struggle will ensue for those resources. Add to this the fact that a good percentage of leaders act on emotion rather than good sense, and let's face it, some of them aren't exactly sane either.
Do you think if we stayed completely out of foreign affaris altogether that we'd be better off? TRUST ME, we wouldn't. I can guarantee you we'd be just as bad off if not worse. Go read a history book instead of watching the [sarcasm]ultra un-biased[/sarcasm] CNN and FOX News before you go around thinking you can make foreign policy.
Do you have any basic grasp on human nature? If you leave people alone, they will not necessarily leave you alone (it's like that when it's with small groups, just imagine how it is with entire nations); given that, I don't think it is right for our leaders to entrust our welfare on the sanity and good will of other world leaders. That is a risk that a responsible chief executive will not take (but Clinton did anyhow, dumdeedum).
