So I'm taking this comparative world religions class this semester and today we watched this video documentary that was shown on Cinemax recently. It was about the Islamic extremeisits who become the suicide bombers and whatnot. It was so sick and disturbing. They showed kids as young as 3 years old trying to sing along with their chants and walking in parades with them. Then they also showed this school for boys where all these boys aged like...5-7 or 8 were singing all these songs like "death to america" and whatnot...it was soo sad.

I know that those are their beliefs, well actually the parents beliefs that they force upon their children, but still. To watch them do these actions and sing songs that they probably have no idea what they really mean was so heart-wrenching.

Did anyone else see this special?

I didnt see it (dont live overthere) but i think its sick they let childeren into a conflict of adults. I mean, these people only learn their childeren to hate other people, but why? the childeren dont know. Its like the parents give those childeren an opinion. you hate america! thats your opinion! so sick.....

That's how I was looking at it too. And kids are soo carefree and loving and accepting of everyone. It's sad to see that carefree spirit sort of diminished by their parents.

yeah the kids dont even get a chance to live a life without hate and fighting.. The parents only keep the hate living there. And then say the american people are bad and all that kind of talk. but atleast american people let their kids live a life!

Well thats really the nature of humans.. We are all brainwashed in some way.. you just notice it more when its someone else brainwashed by something you are not... But I bet that person could find something about you and think you were brainwashed.

Lets say there is another nation.. that.. ehmm.. allows sex between adults and children... You just can't see it as anything else but wrong.. why ? Because it is wrong in your society.

We are all brainwashed in some ways.. just some worse than others.

I'm just gonna say this cuz i'm really too tired rite now to say anything:

1. Don't EVER, and i mean EVER believe what the media says about Islam. If you every want to know anything about Islam, ask a muslim themself (i.e. ME! ) Fox and even CNN are known to make up crap about my religion so whatever they say in the media, don't believe it. Unless you're ignorant and close-minded. Then theirs just no hope for you. But PLEASE keep that in mind.

2. When people do things like that, they do it out of their own will, not because Islam tells them to. There is not ONE SINGLE THING that Islam forces us to do. NOT ONE! Everything is up to your will. Either you want to or not because we know what's good for us Islamic wise.

3. Whatever you heard in that documentary, i gurantee you that 75% of the information in there is fake. GUARANTEE!!

I don't believe its their religion either. I mean there are Christians who kill people but does the religion say to do that? No. I seriously think the people that live in whatever country they do, believe its okay to kill. It does not have to do with being Muslim, or Jewish or anything. It's simply their sick, sad "brain".

Yes, it's not the religion that tells them to do this, they do it because they want to, not because Islam tells them to. Islam itself means "peace" and "submission to god". And think about all the crap they make up about Muslims Islam means peace and that is what muslims try to spread (including thier religion)
