Maybe it would easier for some to swallow this 'war' if Bush admits his mistake and that he lied to the country.

All you do is go around in loops, dude. It's already ALL been discussed 1000x over and you STILL wanna keep talking about it? It's gonna be the same answers from everyone EVERYTIME, haven't you learned that enough to not spin it around in circles daily?

If in fact this war is a mistake (which as of now I believe) but for it to be declared a mistake it's gonna take some time and then look back upon it. Bush ain't saying it's a mistake because he truly doesn't believe it so and over half of those who voted in the last election thought the same thing.

If you expect a President to apologize for anything then you will be waiting for a long time...

Bush as the Anti-Christ?

Please.

Over-dramatize much?! Bush is nowhere near to being an "Anti-Christ". He may be a crummy President true ,but he is hardly as evil as say Pol Pot, Stalin, etc..

Besides, Bush is out of the running because Sylvia Brown said that the Anti-Christ would be born this year.

Not to mention that the U.S. is hardly doomed economically and concerning oil. Things may suck right now ,but like everything else, it is cyclical. Iraq is only one factor, not the sole determining factor, in calcuating the price of oil.

As for Iraq, we should stay until there is a Constitution in place and the country has stabilized to the point in which they can function on their own. Leaving now would create a power vacuum that would ensure an Iranian-style theocracy or another tinpot dictator. Not only that ,but it would likely touch off the genocide of minority groups and most likely destabilize the region.

It's not a winning situation ,but we should try our best to make it work.

I know this thread is way too old to reply in. but here's what I think...

Im from Kuwait, and for those of you who dont know it, its right next to Iraq, In fact our country was attacked by Iraq 15 yrs ago.. So if there was anyone in this world that wants death to Saddam, it would be most of us Kuwaities, Except that we didnt do anything about it because we didnt wanna start a WAR!!

Now that Saddam is down and waiting for his destiny, I think GWB should start reconstructing the things that went down when this war started. He should do that fast along with the help he can provide for the constitution to rise fast enough to keep another child alive.

I believe that children and women have no say in this, they dont fight with the crazy Saddam followers or those other terrorists. watching them die everyday only endicates that this war was and will ever be a MISTAKE,,

So the troops should help as much as they could to recreate what they destroyed (unintentionally) to go back home satisfied of doing a good thing after all.

And Im really sorry for those of them who died there, It was never suppost to go this way, NEVER!
