No we do now think we are so damn high. atleast the one i know doesnt.
I know there are some that do act like just cause theyr religious they can say any thing or do almost any thing but no its not like that.
Bush is a president who shod not have become one at all | I don't think religious fanatics are so high...THEY think they are. Why else would they be trying to get everyone to live by what they believe, what their religion teaches? I'm not saying that everyone who is religious is conceited, but there are a lot who are. I know plenty. Being religious and dedicated to your faith doesn't mean you can't be open-minded. It doesn't mean that everyone who doesn't agree with your beliefs is wrong and going to hell. It also doesn't mean that everyone should have to agree with you, believe what you believe and live how YOUR religion says you should live.
Every religion has truth to it, IMO. I don't think any one religion is more right than the next. |

And some may thing that theyr high fanaticks or whatever but i dont know many that are.
and many christian people are reading the bible wrong ( i may do that too ) but there are people who are too religious and gets the religion geting infront of having friends and all the other good things in the world.

| Certain Christians are told to go out and minister to people they care about. Ministering, in my eyes, does come off a little high and mighty when you're trying to inform people about a certain religion. The people listening either say "No, I know all about that" or "I've known that, but how does it affect me?" or other things that differ...Christians and I'm sure many other religions go around asking people if they'd like to hear about their specific religion. Living by a religion endures a priceless amount of faith and willpower. Anyone (and there are quite a few) can go around saying "I love Jesus!" and then go and cuss up a storm, and that's not exactly keeping your tongue cleansed or go and sleep with five people, and that isn't staying true to what you believe. And then people are like, well, I got Jesus to forgive me. Sure, everyone sins. It's in the Bible that everyone falls short to the glory of God. All in all, religion is full of hypocrites. Their lives don't reflect their religion and in my opinion, I'd rather them go and sleep around and live their lives how they want, but just don't mention God or Jesus in any of your sentences, because it is disrespectful, and dishonoring even yourself to say it. One of the Ten Commandments says not to say the Lord's name in vein, but what do people do? They go around saying G-Damnit, JesusChrist (as if it's slang). That not only puts me in a piss-poor mood but makes me not want to talk to you. I'm not going to tell you to stop cussing, I'm not gonna tell you what you're doing is wrong, but I will tell you that respecting me as a person is not saying those words in my face, or ever. And yes, some don't realize they're even saying it - pathetic.
I posted from my viewpoint, that's all I was doing in this thread. I believe that homosexuality is something learned that can be unlearned. And it may not be any of my business, but it's a topic that everyone has talked about, whether it is anybody's business or not. It will never be fully accepted, because of the many different personalities in the world.
I think I may have said this, but I know gay people, and I have nothing against them. I don't go up to them and tell them their lives suck, or that they're gonna go to hell when they die. I don't perform hate crimes. Even though, I would never do it, I have nothing against them. I have my own theory on homosexuality, but does that make me prejudice? No.
Offensive or not. Take this post with as much salt as you want. |

| Yes some do that tough when they say they dont want to hear about it its then wrong that the minisers keeps talking about it and asking over and over..
I care about the people who is not ready to listien to some minesters.
why cant they move on to the next house to se if they are intrested.. if they are than go talk to them if not leave them alone and let them find out theyr self what they want..
Before i were a Christian i were really bad yea cause i heard about the religion thing all the time i got sick of it so i tried to get away from it than some years later i found out that i wanted to be intrested in this and it was better finding out that my self with out some people making me get a fake image of it. |

How do you kNOW what they believe? Everyone has their own interpretation of their religion. Just because you swear and sleep around with people, doesn't mean youre not or can't be religious. Just because you don't go buy every single "rule" in the dictatorship they call the Bible, doesn't mean you don't stay true to your religion. Quote: Originally posted by Errick All in all, religion is full of hypocrites. | That's because the Bible is the Supreme Hypocrite Dictionary. That's what happen when a book contradicts its ownself. So then you want to blame others for being hypocrites? Quote: Originally posted by Errick because it is disrespectful, and dishonoring even yourself to say it. | Well, in that case, there isn't one person in the world that isn't disrespectful, and every person has dishonored themself. Quote: Originally posted by Errick but I will tell you that respecting me as a person is not saying those words in my face, or ever. | And then you'd get told "respecting me as a person is accepting the way I speak, whether you like it or not." Quote: Originally posted by Errick And yes, some don't realize they're even saying it - pathetic. | There's that judgemental trait coming out once again. You're calling someone pathetic because they don't realize they are saying it? That makes no sense. Quote: Originally posted by Errick
I believe that homosexuality is something learned that can be unlearned. | Okay, so basically you're one of those people that think homosexuality is a CHOICE someone makes, eh? Funny. Yeah, that's something I would PERSONALLY do is CHOOSE to be a way in which people hated me for and rebel against everyone! YAY! [/sarcasm] Doesn't work that way, Cuz. No. | Having a theory, no, but comments you've made might lead others to believe you ARE prejudice. It really all just depends on how people extract what you say and interpret it. Quote: Originally posted by Errick I don't perform hate crimes. | You might as well, it's the same thing. |

And had them recount the ballots and it actually came up that Bush had actually MOOOOORE votes than originaly thought so then the fuckin asshole tried to keep it all hush hush and act as if he was backing out bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote: Originally posted by KingOfMonra well i'm glad if he doesnt win the election tough he didnt realy win it last time.. gore just went out wile he was in the lead? or somthing like that | I'm not too worried about Bush winning a second term. I believe he will have enough votes to put him over the top once again. Opinion polls don't mean shit! It's nice to finally have a president in the office with some balls!! |

| If Bush had any balls he would have told us the reasons for going to IRAQ, instead of trying to cover it up with lies. |

Gore won the popular vote, any way you cut it. If it wasnt for the electoral college, he would have been the president. So do your research before inserting your foot in your mouth, like you just did. |
