| Yeah, Kizzie. They don't have the right to stop you from being happy.
I wish they'd just worry about themselves. |

Shame shame shame... | You are right, No religion would condone some of the things that happen in the world today. Just let everyone be happy thats the way I look at it. |

| Ugh. I am so over all of this "anti-gay" bullshit. My blood boils when I read things about people feeling this way and I want to cry. I may not be "gay" (seeing as Im bisexual) but Im certainly attracted to those of the same sex, and if it ever came down to it, I would marry someone of the same sex because I was in love with her. There is no doubt in my mind.
Im all for people having opinions, and yes, I admit, "anti-gay" is an opinion of some. Im absolutely fine with this. However, when people start using religion, and saying, "God is against gays.." thats where they get me. You cannot speak for God. Im sure if God was so against gay's, people of the same sex would have no attraction to each other. It just doesnt make sense to me.
On the religion front. I, myself, went through a period where I thought I didnt believe in God, and thought that religion was a waste of time. Over the past few months though, I've realized that its certain religions (or rather, religion) that Im against. At the moment, I still consider myself agnostic, but I do believe in God. |

That's like saying if GOD was so against murderers, then there wouldn't be murderers. Now, when he created these people he didn't make them out to be murderers, they chose to act on that. He gives us free will, we can make the choice. (FYI, I'm not comparing gays to murderers, I have many gay friends and they aren't evil)
Now, I'm not saying I'm anti-gays, because, truthfully, I'm not. I say get married if you want to. That isn't my problem. I believe that GOD says it's wrong, but we are also told to not judge. So, I'm not going to judge. I'm the only person that I have to worry about.
When I die, I won't have to account for anyone else's actions/sins but mine. |

| My FAVOURITE misconception about the gay lifestyle is that people so strongly believe that it's a choice. And though, it may be for some, for most, the only choice they make is whether or not to accept themselves for who they are. |

Like I said, Im not actually, "GAY", but again, Im very much attracted to the same sex. I thought for years that there was something wrong with me. Hmm. I wonder what brought that on. Maybe THATS why I have a hard time with religion and God. Im forced to believe that something I have ABSOLUTELY no control over, is "wrong" to God. There is NOTHING wrong with being gay. NOTHING. Im so sick of all this. It makes me feel sick to my stomach. |

| I still don't get God's intentions for being against gays. I really don't. |

| Personally, I think you DO have a choice to be gay or not. If there wasn't a choice GOD would not have put it in the Bible.
Basically, God started with a man and a woman. Only a man and a woman. He made a man and a woman to produce children. This is the whole point of what he created. Now, he did not create it where man and man , or woman and woman are making children. They can't can they? Then they're doing something out of GOD'S law.
IMO.
Again, nothing wrong with being gay in YOUR opinion. I, however, don't agree. BUT, I will not judge you or stop being friends with you. |

Please, just think of the HARDEST decision you've EVER had to make. Now add 205% to the of stress of that situation. THATS what I had to deal with when I finally accepted that I was bi-sexual. I didnt make the choice. If I could have made the choice, I wouldnt have made it a couple of years ago. I've grown to accept it, obviously, but then, there is NO way on this earth I would have made it. I promise that.
Obviously, now, Im proud with who I am. Im talking about when I was much younger. |
