Very true, Chris, very true. What's sad is that people take so seriously what's inside a book that may or may not be true, and give up thinking for themselves and having common sense, and for what reason? There isn't one.

Well I mean, hey, if a religion can find someone hope, self-esteem, etc, then that's cool, more power too them, but I mean, honestly, some people take it a little overboard with it, and often cite things that don't even exist in the bible, pretty much such as this topic.

I remember there once was some scripture from the Bible, my pastor quoted when the subject of homosexuals was brought up. Too bad I can't quote it right now 'cause I didn't write it down. I should have, though.

well it mainly says that homosesxual is bad and that it will be send to hell tough that was the old testament and the new testamen were jesus goes on the corse for our sinc for every one . and for those who is well got that water on head from the priest well u know what i meen will have eternal life. tough if ur gay u wont tough wow its hard to get the bible.

The more you bring to the table, the better, for discussion purposes. So many people have quoted the marriage between man and women scripture for so long, that if there is something else referring to homosexuality or what not, I'd rather read that then the only passage they can find to be against homosexuality. But even then, the Bible still contradicts itself therein for the simple fact that if it does possess these quotes against homosexuals, it's contradicting its judge not, statement, as well as many others that teach tolerance of other beings and respecting who they are. Banning them from being a person, isn't respecting who they are, its LIMITING who they are or can be.

I think you're referring to Baptism, right? Wow, I remember when I was baptised...i was like...10 or something, but it was this big hoop-dee-la and stuff but if anything, it pretty much strayed me from religion since it's been years since I've attended church regularly. Then again, I'm not one of those people who can find hope and comfort from a book but anyways..

So pretty much, its saying "yeah, you can be gay, but you can't express your love for another person just because theyre the same sex". That's stupid. Yeah there's a reason a woman has her parts and a man has his parts, but if being gay was so wrong, God would not have created the emotion/gene.
