A Swedish couple are trying to persuade authorities to let them name their baby girl Metallica.
The country’s tax agency rejected Michael and Karolina Tomaro's application to name their six-month-old daughter after the rock band.
Karolina, 27, who is from Stockholm, said: "It suits her. She is decisive and she knows what she wants."
The baby has already been baptised Metallica, but the Swedish National Tax Board are still refusing to register the name, meaning the baby doesn’t have a social security number or a passport.
The couple plan to appeal the decision and were infuriated when the official handling the case branded the name "ugly".
