This makes me feel really sick.

US police believe they have found alive a baby girl who was taken from her murdered mother's womb. Eight-months pregnant Bobbi Jo Stinnett was found strangled in her Missouri home on Thursday. Her unborn child had been cut from her womb.

Police raided a house in neighbouring Kansas on Friday and found what they believe is Mrs Stinnett's baby. A 36-year-old woman has been charged with kidnapping resulting in death, US attorney Todd Graves said.

Mrs Stinnett's mother reportedly found her daughter at her home in the small Missouri town of Skidmore. Paramedics tried to revive her but she was pronounced dead at hospital.

Um,...if someone wanted a baby that badly, why didn't they just adopt one instead of killing a mother to take hers?

On the other hand, I don't exactly think such an insane person should be allowed to adopt so, catch-22. Plus, you know good and well that the baby thief would be ridiculously clingy and overprotective to the point of murderous.

I say the perpetrators should be thrown in locked padded cells for life.

I reckon she must have lost her baby for her to do something like this, still doesnt excuse it as this poor woman is dead now.

This reminds me of a Law and Order: SVU ep, where the same thing happened.

She has been charged and will go to court on Monday, she is a mother of two, its frightening, This has happened several times in the last few years in America..

I think I just read somewhere that she's trying to say that it's her baby. In fact, let me see if I can get the article.

That was true, but she is kidding herself. The DNA will prove it. If she did this and I presume she did, she should be locked up for life.
