I'm curious...is anyone watching this show? It was filmed at a sorority in my college town, so everyone here is watching it. We're literally scheduling our lives around this show...it's pretty pathetic.

If any of y'all have seen it...what do you think? (if you haven't seen it and want to, it's on monday nights at 10:30 pm on MTV.)

I love that show. I think Jordan is very pretty. I love her hair. There's absolutely no point to it but I can't help but watch it

I love the show. I think though most of the girls are bitches that deserved to get their sorry asses kicked (talk about hypocrits!) Except for that dark haird girl (you know, the one that got the president to get her a ride home when the one that was 'supposed' to be sober couldn't?) She seems okay. Oh and the little they have showed of the president, she seems okay.

*high five* i agree with everything you said.

i don't know any of the girls personally, but i know people that do. and they say that the pledges' TV portrayals are not too far from the truth, especially with jordan. (somehow, i'm not surprsed, hehe.)

personally, i'm not a huge fan of the show. i and most other people are watching it simply to see how MTV potrayed davis. it's almost comical to watch...this town is in the middle of nowhere and entertainment is hard to come by...i mean, the shots of davis 'nightlife' are of a couple bar/pseudo dance club joints (and boy do i use the term 'dance club' loosely). MTV tried to make this town look as kickin' as cancun over spring break, but those of us that know what it's really like aren't fooled.

anyyyyyway, i'm a little skeptical of the pledges, especially jordan. she talks about the sisters not trusting her and all that BS, when she's not trusting them and their rules. bleh. the others, though, i don't have too much problem with...except i think they could've been a little more careful about what they do around the cameras. now that the show is on tv, the sisters have a chance to see exactly what the pledges were up to. talk about being busted.

i don't mean to make this into an essay, really! but this is the biggest thing to happen to this town since the university itself, so it's hard to not have some sort of opinion on it. if i were part of the greek system, i'd probably even have MORE of a say on it, but i'm not in a sorority. i have heard, however, from people who know the girls and how the system works, that it's not a very realistic portrayal of this particular sorority. MTV seems to have tainted it.

okay, yeah, i'm done blabbing. i wish i could be more of an insider for you guys who like the show, and who maybe want the scoop on what the girls are really like, but i don't know very much. and what i do know, i won't say. i don't want to spoil this fantastic show. *snort*

the show isnt that bad...the house rules are stupid i dont blame them for keeping vodka in the car...lol

it was filmed in Davis, California. it's near Sacramento.

if i were 21, i would probably be annoyed at the house rules...

but...

i'd follow them. the pledge quarter, after all, is a bit of a 'test', to see how you respond to rules, regulations, and whatnot. look at it this way. if you want to join the sorority, you first have to respect the girls that are already in it. that includes following their rules. how else are they going to learn to trust you?
