I read on my my musicchoice.com tv channel that Avril's
song is being made into a movie. What do you think?

With that news I can feel the apocalypse approaching, but it is a good movie story, maybe.

Oh good lord. That would be a terrible movie if it's based on the song. This is probably what it would be like, all of this is based on what the song says: The movie starts in a high school. It shows a "skater punk" being poked at and made fun of. Then, the bell rings. "Skater punk" asks popular "pretty ballerina" out, but she turns him down. Then, a flash forward to five years later. "Pretty ballerina" is watching TV feeding her baby when she see's "skater punk" on MTV. She calls her friends, they are in love with him. Then, "pretty ballerina" tags along to one of his shows. She hears a song that "skater punk" and his "new girlfriend" made up in the studio. Even though she knows it's based on her, she asks "skater punk" out. He declines, and now "pretty ballerina" has to live with her decison of turning him down. And in the long run, everyone lives happily ever after except for "pretty ballerina." The end! So if the movie is based on the song, that's pretty much how it will turn out. For the love of god - who's chioce was it to possibly turn this into a movie? I know one things for sure - I'M NOT WATCHING IT.

First of all, I find it hilarious how all these people were probably at the front of the line to see Crossroads on opening night, but are whining about a movie that:
a) Hasnt been confrimed yet.
b) Probably wont star Avril Lavigne herself
c) Wasn't Avril's idea to make a movie out of it anyways

Secondly, I find it kinda funny how everybody is second guessing the hollywood writer's and producers. Because, obviously a movie simply about the song will be crap. BUT, these writers do have brains, and are only basing the movie on the song. Its called story developement people. It could very well be a great movie with a similar story. Stop being so prejudice at this stage of the film making process.

i think it sounds like a typical teen movie. plus, i dont like avril lavigne which dosent help.
