I liked how you used Vin Diesel in your example. The guy is huge! But anyways, say this guy who worked out also said to you "quess what-I have a bomb, and I am ready and willing to throw it in your house the first chance I get." Well you might shrug that off at first. Phhhh ..he couldn't do anything. But then you find evidance that he does indeed have a bomb, and he could use it at any time. Would you be in the wrong for taking this guy and throwing him in jail? Its kinda the same thing.

I wasn't arguing about Bush spreading it. I was arguing the statement that you made saying that all Americans are brainwashed. On this board we have quite a few Americans, and as the posts on the war have shown we all have different opinions on it. I therfore feel it is safe to come to the conclusion that we are not brainwashed.

Alrighty. To those that follow the news, read newspapers, etc. you will notice that it was reported that a building said to contain Sadaam was bombed. It was then reported he needed medical attention for someone in the building, it is still not clear for whom. Sadaam then made an announcement saying that he was fine, thus confirming the attack. That is why I have reason to believe that the attack actually happened.

No the electoral college decides the winner. You get a certain number per state, based on the state's population size. One of them has to go by the people's vote the other one (or two ) do not. So it is entirley possible that while winning the public's vote that a presidental canidate will not win the electoral vote, thus he will not be president. I think Andrew Jackson was the only president not to win the Public's vote but to win the presidancy.

I failed to read where you spoke of congress. As you did not know about the electoral process, I thought you were unaware of Congress and how it worked. I apologize. I was not trying to patronize you in the least. But think as you will. I certainly don't know how Canada's goverment works. They never taught us that in school, so somehow I thought you might be as ignorant as I in other countries goverment proceedings. Again, I apologize.

First of all, I live on my own and pay my own taxes, I don't give a rats ass what my 'family' pays. Shit, its not like I see a dime of my taxes anyways, so it really doesn't matter much to me. The goverment will take out what it wishes to anyways, thats the whole way I look at this. At the end of the year I get most of it back anyways, In fact I'm sitting on a big check now that is a tax refund.
