The Rock becomes Spy Hunter - Eternal Allegiance

Wrestling legend Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is to play the lead in the big screen adaptation of 80's video game classic 'Spy-Hunter'.

E!Online says that a summer 2005 release is planned for the film.

The Rock's new movie, 'The Rundown', topped the US box office at the weekend, taking $18.5m in its first three days.

In the movie, originally titled 'Helldorado', he plays a bounty hunter on the run in the Brazilian jungle.
