Orlando Bloom will play a young James Bond in a new film about the secret agent's college days, according to reports.

The Evening Standard yesterday said that the British actor has signed up with Miramax to star in the film.

It is to focus on Bond's college days after he gets expelled from Eton.

there was a "james bond jr" cartoon on tv before.. maybe its gonna be simular to that

I dont think he is the type... plus i think they could damage the Bond's movies doing a couple of films about the young Bond... at least if they do it apart, i mean, like if the people from "Batman" release a movie just about "Robin".

He isnt going to be the James Bond, He will just play a young bond in a totally different movie.
