Oh hey hihlordjp - are you a David Eddings fan? Love his books. Finished them all a few years ago - great stuff.

I'm glad you agree - both regarding Star Wars and David Eddings' books!

Yes, I am a fan of his books. He always adds a touch of humor in the dialog and the narrations, something I like very much.

Heh yep always good to see people with the same interest as me. Btw, have you read any books by Robert Jordan? I'm in the middle of his 'Wheel of Time' series - very good series as well. Same sort of thing - 'farm boy saves the universe etc' - gotta love it.

Not yet. I'm still reading Edding's second book of The Tamuli series - "The Shining Ones".

Ah ok - that's the second series isn't it? The Elenium is before that right?

lol - I know what you mean.... the first book of his I read was 'Pawn of Prophecy' - the first book in the Belgariad/Mallorean series which is a totally different series with different character, places etc. - personally I think it's even better than the Elenium/Tamuli series - I'm sure you'll find it in time.

I already did! I've already read the entire Malloreon series, and "Pawn of Prophecy" and "Enchanters' End Game". I read the Malloreon first because it was the only complete series they had at the bookstore we went to.

sorry... got distracted there....

Oh ok - hmm guess that must have been confusing! I read them all in order I borrowed the whole Mallorean series off a friend so that saved a bit of money and hassle. If you can find it 'Belgarath the Sorcerer' and 'Polgara the Sorcerss' are really great as well - they are prequels to the whole series and present their viewpoints.

It's OK. I saw the thread in the Sewer.

I read the books in a peculiar order. This is how it goes: The Elenium (3rd book first, then the 1st, the 2nd), The Tamuli (1st book), The Belgariad (1st book), The Malloreon (In order), The Belgariad again (5th book), The Tamuli again (2nd book)...

Woah! Anyway, I already told my cousin in the US to buy Belgarath the Sorcerer and Polgara the Sorceress and the Rivan Codex, too!
