I love the movie ,but i heard on the DVD that there was a trailer that you couldn't skip through at the beginning. Is this true?

I don't know anything about that, but I just wanted to say that I am so sick and tired of the DVD's that do that. I don't want to see no freaking trailer to a movie that isn't the one I'm actually wanting to watch.

People complain about DVDs having trailers like it's a new thing, it might be to DVDs but we had to deal with them for years with VHS's. From what I remember there is a trailer or two but you can fast foward through them, can't skip them though

Hmm...I don't remember anything like that. But then again it's been a while since I've watched that DVD. But I just remember putting the DVD in and the menu popping up.

A few new titles have this annoying feature. "The Stepford Wives", "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" and "Eternal Sunshine of the Stopless Mind" just to name a few. It is possible to skip through the Trailers by pressing the Skip Chapter button. What you should really worry about is the crossover to the new Blu-Ray Discs and HD DVD format. From what I understand, the DVD that i know and love today will be replaced with those meaning I'll have to get an HD compatible system which costs an arm and a leg. Damn these companies!

I saw it a while back so i dont remember but the new trend is forced trailers at the begining.
As soon as the trailer stars press stop wait 2 seconds and hit dvd menu on the remote it should take you to the main menu(it works with UNIVERSAL releases) sometimes it doesnt work in PARAMOUNT releases.

i kno! im getting so scared about this whole HD-DVD thing. all my dvds will ebcome obsolete if i get an HD-DVD player. well not really. but itll have crappier picture. lol. when did u think the day we'd say DVD has crappy picture. Yea, i hate those trailers. ESPECIALLY ON DISNEY DVDS! ugh.

HD-DVDs will be here this xmas and new dvd players will be an arm an a leg and lots of titles have been announced...THE MATRIX TRILOGY are among them I sure want to see LOTR AND STARWARS ALL EPISODES will sure be nice
