britney_lover you'd probably do the same thing if someone insulted Britney. I am a huge Mariah fan. Her lyrics have helped me through tough times in my tough life. Besides Stevie Wonder, I can honestly say no other artist has had that power over me. I mean besides him and India Arie, to me Mariah has the most profound lyrics I have ever found (besides an unkown singer I talk to online who has great lyrics too). Everyone has a right to their opinion but to say her music and lyrics suck you just haven't opened your eyes and ears. You're too busy listening ot the media. Some songs she goes too high but others like Reflections are so beautiful. And her weight has nothing to do with her music.

it made me cry at the end.........and that says something

i think Mariah was destined to get flack just cause she is singer......it sucks.....but critics are evil...and love ripping things to shreads.......especailly our belovered maz

so if you havnt seen it....judge it for yourself

yep queen of teens they dont give people credibility no matter how good they are.

i hear when the mask came out everyone laughed when they say cher on the credits. then cher won an oscar, and well deserved. singer or no singer, she was great in that movie and very believable in her role. and she's been in other movies too. and madonna got great reviews for a league of their own. i think singers are natural actors. why? stage performances and music videos.

I mean from the bottom of my broken heart, britney plays a sweet, innocent, naive girl begging for her lover back. then in oops and stronger, she's a strong, sexy vixen type. and then in dwad she's a ballerina, a circus girl, etc. Mariah's video for My All to me was like watching a fantasy movie and was gorgeous. Shakira's underneath your clothes is kinda like a mini movie to me and a very beautiful one at that. I think singers are natural performers in any way- modeling, acting, singing. i think part of why britney did so well in crossroads was she's used to being in front of cameras and acting in her videos and on stage so it just came natural.

yeah you're right i would go on tha defense if someone talked about my honey britney and i never listen to tha media because most of it's crapola and i admire and respect marah for being an artist that can stay on top (most of time) but glitter was't one of tha best movies ever (maybe because i'm a guy)

what's really sad/upsetting is that glitter was supposed to open on my 18th bday and i was anticipating it for months and months.

oddly i had this strange feeling (before her breakdown) what if, i hope not, maybe the movie will be pushed back later. Its like I had psychic Mariah abilities (but for a bad thing). I think its kinda weird.

I wonder when Wise Girls comes out, Kizzie do you know? I hear she's good in it. I also liked her in the Bachelor but was dissappointed she was in for like 1 minute and I thought she'd have a major part.

mariah a bitch, no way. compare her to a lot of other celebs who couldnt care less for their fans and mariah dedicates herself to us. I have never met her, only got an autograph through the mail for entering the be in the mariah's theme contest. but even so, i dont have any feeling of her as bitchy what so ever. she seems so sweet and caring.
