Jessica Alba Cast In Fantastic Four - Eternal Allegiance

Jessica Alba has been cast as the Susan Storm (aka Invisible Girl) for 20th Century Fox's upcoming Marvel Comics adaptation Fantastic Four, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Alba, who also stars in the upcoming Sin City and Into the Blue, is said to have beat out stiff competition for the role that included Rachel McAdams and Elizabeth Banks.

She joins cast members Michael Chiklis (Benjamin Grimm/The Thing), Ioan Gruffudd (Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic), and Chris Evans (Johnny Storm/The Human Torch). The four develop superpowers when their spaceship is exposed to cosmic radiation.

Tim Story is set to direct from a script by Simon Kinberg.

That's pretty awesome. I never knew they were making this movie, i'm very curious to see how it's going to turn out.

Um...her and Mike C. are the only ones that I know of.

I thought they were trying to get big names for this movie. Oh well, hopefully it turns out good. I remember the cartoon, and if i'm not mistaken there was a live action movie made way back when.

If Jessica's in the movie, it's sure to be HOT. She's got the complete package, especially in the beauty & talent department. She's on my list of hotties, one of my favorite actresses. I'll definitely be tuning in for this one, the Fantastic Four is one of my favorite comic books, along w/ Spider-Man and X-Men.

Honey hip-hopper Jessica Alba has signed on to suit up as the Invisible Girl in the Marvel Comics adaptation of the 1961 comic Fantastic Four, according to The Hollywood Reporter,. Alba will play the love interest of scientist Mr. Fantastic (Ioan Gruffudd of King Arthur) in the adventurous astronaut quartet. The heroic posse also includes Chris Evans as the Human Torch and The Shield's Michael Chiklis as the Thing.

Yeah, for some reason, I remember hearing something about a movie of Fantastic Four made a whiiiiiiiiiiiiile back too. I remember the cartoons too, I always used to watch them.

Those are my favorites too.

I ALWAYS used to wake up early EVERY weekend with my brothers and sisters just to watch Spider-Man and X-Men, Fantastic Four, The Hulk etc... I swear, I can't remember ONE person who DIDN'T.

That's why I'm always so happy when I hear about them making a new movie of one of my favorite childhood cartoons, it's so awesome.

That's awesome! I think I remember watching the Fantastic Four cartoon as I was a child. Jessica Alba will make the movie great!
