Jake Gyllenhaal is one of the most consistently interesting young actors in Hollywood. To WhatItsLike2Beme: what's wrong with Jamie Foxx? I definitely look forward to seeing this.

My dad wa sa Marine for 27 years, so I know better than to go see a B.S. movie like this. ESPECIALLY with Jamie Foxx. Come on, you had one good movie and now you're "it"? LMAO, stick to comedy...well, you can't do that either..

I'm guessing that the "one good movie" you're talking about was "Ray". well, Foxx was good in it, but i didn't think "Ray" was all that good. His best movie, by far, was "Collateral". even Tom Cruise is good in it.

I'm curious why you're convinced Jarhead is a B.S. movie. it might be, but it hasn't even come out yet. i think it's based on a book by a guy who served in the Gulf War, so the fact your dad was a marine shouldn't convince you not to see it.
