Rapper Ja Rule is to join 'Pulp Fiction' star Ving Rhames in a new thriller called 'Back in the Day'.
The Hollywood Reporter says the film tells the story of a man (Ja Rule) who does a favour for an old friend (Rhames) involved in a criminal gang and finds that events spiral out of control.
Production on 'Back in the Day' is due to start next month in Puerto Rico.
Ja Rule's previous film credits include 'Half Past Dead' and 'The Fast and the Furious'.
He has recently completed work on the comedy 'Scary Movie 3' and will also appear in the currently filming Jennifer Lopez movie 'Shall We Dance?'. |
