| I know I said this but I thought it was absolutely beyond lame that they lumped BRITNEY with ChristinaJessicaMandy. I like Jessica and all but she wasn't BIG until this past year. Mandy...never really that big. And Christina...okay they could've disscussed her but it's a FACT Britney was bigger then (and still now) than her. Britney barely got talked about and I found it just wrong [/rant]
And *NSYNC should've been at least mentioned...pffft. Why didn't they group the boy bands together. |

| Yeah, the talked about Jessica more than Britney about how "virginal" she actually was and uh, it pissed me. Britney WAS pop music in '99.
I actually didn't mind that *NSYNC didn't get mentioned a) because I like the Backstreet Boys 100x better b) they're more than likely going to have a seperate segment on them "Part Deux."
I doubt "Are You Afraid of the Dark" and some of those other old Nick shows will get mentioned because they were NOT that big in pop culture. They were just kids' shows, you know? And I don't know if "Daria" and "Beavis & Butthead" will get mentioned either because this is VH1 and those shows were on MTV. No idea, though. |

| Viacom owns both MTV and Vh1, right? So they might possibly discuss MTV shows, they have on there before (The Real World for one). And Beevis and Butthead were HUGE. Can't believe they missed that one.
I don't care that they lumped all the girls together, but they could have spent a bit more time on them than they did on ,say, Ross Perot or soccer moms or something. Britney WAS huge, and just..ugh. |
