What do you guys think that thing is in the basement of Sunnydale High? I know it got a big buzz on the offcial site's chatroom that night. It was cool seeing characters like the Mayor again I actually thought it was Glory at first, with the shapeshifting and all.

| Im gonna like this thread. Ill be here everyday. Well, I dunno. Im a huge fan of the show. I started watching it during Season 1, the first night it premierd. I saw all the seasons up to 5 cause thats when the WB Network was removed from my cable service provider back in my home town. When I came to college, i rediscovered Buffy during Season5 and instantly became hooked again. I turned to the Internet for season 6 and found it all. So yeah, im very into Buffy. And I wanna make you guys jealous I get to watch new eps the Sunday or Monday before they air *runs*

| Here's a generic topic... Favorite episodes?
I wanna start with this because season 3 is replaying One of my favorite seasons. 3 episodes I love are in it. "The Wish", "The Zeppo", and "Doppelgangland".
I love the way they did The Wish and Doppelgangland. I agree with whoever said this as well. This show combination really shows off what a talented actress Alysson Hannigan is. She does 4 parts. Willow, Vampire Willow, Willow posing as Vampire Willow, and Vampire Willow pretending to be regular Willow. |

| Isnt that the truth. Doppelgangland aired today on FX and it is an excellent show.
My favorite episode at the moment is The Freshman, the reason for this is because Buffy just started college and she's lost and such. I kinda feel that way being a freshman and all. Although ive been here for about 5 months (Whoa, I had no idea it was that long) I still feel a little lost and it still feels a little new to me. And besides that, both me and Buffy took Intro to Psych our Freshman years

| I want to add, what ithink should be a classic episode in the history of TV "Once More With Feeling" I want the soundrack, but I have the mp3s on my computer.
I think the episode was completely innovative, and wasn't even a special occassion episode like their Halloween ones. It was just used to help further the main season plot, a normal episode in all senses but the singing. "Drawn to the Fire" is amazing, standing on its own as a great ensemble song. Spike's "Rest In Peace" rocks too Finally "Standing In The Way" from Giles is great and heartfeltly sung.
And ofcourse, another hopeful classic, "Hush". See above for being innovative. That one was pretty scary on the first watch of it. The Gentlemen were really portrayed as scary and deadly. The surprise standoff between Riley and Buffy at the end was funny And it ended on a great part. "We need to talk." "Yeah...." |

| Hush was a GREAT episode. I was actually scared of the guys , when I first saw that episode. Ooh, I hope they show it today as part of the Buffy Halloween Marathon on FX. I cant wait.
"Once More With Feeling", that episode is just, its just too good. I cant even believe it. I just saw it for the first time not too long ago and I was completely blown away. Amber Benson....her song "Under Your Spell", thats my favorite song off the album, then the reprise topped it all off. "Standing" by Giles is too. Those two songs just, they just get to me. And the "Overture/Going Through the Motions" That is also a great part of the show. I cannot still believe how great this show ends.
I swear, if it ends this season, ill be heartbroken.

| I forgot "Going Through The Motions" That's a song anyone can relate to. Which is the bueaty of a lot of the songs on "Once More With Feeling", the themes of them are general enough to be relatable and character specific enough to drive the plot forward.
When I was first getting into the show the first great combination of episodes I saw was "The Becoming 1 and 2". Emotional rollercoaster throughout the whole thing. You couldn't not feel for Buffy when she stabbed Angel. Angel and Spike seemed like such bad villains then, but Angel as a good guy turns things completely around. And Spike...well, I can type up something cool on him whenever we get to favorite characters
I tend to like the unusual episodes the best, the ones that divert from the usual plots and tendencies of the show. "Superstar" and "Same Time, Same Place" are good examples of that. |

| I think thats kind of a given since there's a season 7, but I getcha. Its a shame that you people overseas have to wait for so long for an ep, but then again, you already have S5 on DVD....
