Ross, because they were drunk and bored and wanted something to do, but Ross was just making a joke because of his history of marriages. So Rachel drew on his face too and they went frolicking to the chapel.

Well fuck it then. I don't know. Seen that episode a million times but never paid attention. I only paid attention to the fact that they got married in the first place!

Rachel wanted to eat alot of grapes, and Ross wanted to get married. So they comprimised, and ate alot of grapes and then got married (or vise-versa )
