Yeah heard that name before ... do you seriously watch such crap?
Soaps have thousands of epsiodes ... what's the excitement about that? 
You miss 20 episodes, you watch 1 episode again and you already know again where the storyline is for the moment, cause there simply happens one interesting thing per 50 episodes | |

Whatīs the excitement....donīt know. And I personally think not many really soap addictives can explain it. | |

Most people watch it because
1. they're bored
2. they wanna escape reality (their own life) by watching so called 'realistic' (yeah right ) soaps

BMB - I totally agree with you  I find soaps totally boring and depressing, nothing good ever happens, it's just one bad situation after another. TV is meant for ENTERTAINMENT, which is an escapism from real life, so when you make a program that is meant to mimic real life eg) soaps, docu-soaps, reality TV shows, ect, blah ............. then you defeat the primary goal of TV ................ ENTERTAINMENT. It is escapism and so should challenge your mind (dramas, mysterys) excite your imagination (sci-fi and fantasy) amuse you (chat shows, comedys) or just provide entertainment (sports, action film, ect). | |
