Last season when the finale for CSI came to a close, people were stunned to see that the writers finally went there with Grissom and Sara when we found them in varying states of undress, talking about a case on the bed. After years of hints and speculation, a romance finally struck between Grissom, the head of the crime lab, and Sara, one of the investigators.

They’ve done well, keeping it subtle enough thta it doesn’t interfere with what we really want - the story - but we know it’s there. Is it all about to end though?

Jorja Fox, the actress who plays Sara Sidle, has apparently not signed on for next season - yet. Although she hasn’t turned it down outright, the actress is tiring of her role and is still on the fence as to what she’ll do. Speculation right now is that they may end the season with Sara going missing and Grissom finding himself having to admit to the relationship to the rest of the investigation team.

Whether they find her alive or not will depend on Jorja’s contract decision.

I don’t know whether it’s all going to play out like that but it would be exciting!
