Default Is Departed really the best movie?

What do you think about it?

Is Scorsese really deserved this award, or that was just a due for his previous work that wasn't rewarded?

I thought the movie was great. I didn't get to see any of the other competing movies in the best film category so I'm not sure if it was neccessarily better, but I liked it.
