| FALLEN ANGEL: James Cameron probably isn't feeling like the King of the World today: Fox has axed his second-year sci-fi drama Dark Angel. The Oscar-winning filmmaker isn't holding out hope that he'll get a chance to tie up the show's loose ends in a two-hour telepic next season. "I doubt it, quite frankly," he tells TV Guide Online. "I think these decisions are made on a very mercenary basis. I think that once they've decided that they've got to put their money elsewhere, they'll put their money elsewhere. Which is too bad, because I think that we have a loyal fan base." The new Joss Whedon-produced space western Firefly will take over Jessica Alba's Friday night timeslot. Other Fox casualties include Titus, That '80s Show and Greg the Bunny. As expected, critical fave 24 has been renewed and Andy Richter Controls the Universe will return at midseason. At Fox's fall presentation to ad execs today, the network will announce that it's adding a whopping 10 new shows

| I think they killed it form the time it was moved to Friday night, I missed half the season due to work, baseball and having a life, I taped them though
Tuesday would have been perfect, Dark Angel @8 then BAM, onto '24', it would have been huge. |

| So once again they axe my favorite TV show at the moment... Why do they always do that? I hate it. Everytime I find a TV show that fits me like a glove and quickly becomes my fav at the moment, they axe it one or two seasons later. Heh. Stupid morons.

| That completely and utterly sucks. Though the second series hasn't even started here yet, so I don't know how good it is, I guess if it wasn't that good it's probably a good thing the show was cancelled, but as I said, haven't seen it yet...
Damm, they better get Jessica Alba a new tv show then. |

| damnit. they get rid of good shows and keep bad ones. remember my so called life? that show was amazing and it was just one season and not even a full season either. I liked the first season of dark angel better but i still like it. that firefly show better be damn good. |

That just sucks. I'm gonna miss seeing that show. And yeah Chewie, Jessica had better find a new TV show!
Kind of bittersweet for me, "Firefly" is esentially what's the cause of Buffy ending, since Joss is the creator, and now his show is taking the place of a show I'd like to still be able to see.... |
