Christina Ricci has always been shy about her body, and it took a lot of courage for her to strip off for her latest film, Black Snake Moan - in which she plays a nymphomaniac, no less!
Christina spent around two months filming in (and out) of her underwear for the film, and she freely admits she found it terrifying. The Pumpkins star decided to start walking around in her underwear on set to overcome her fear, and she then became more comfortable with it.
The cast and production crew did not flinch when filming the explicit scenes, but 27-year-old Christina, who has battled an eating disorder in the past, said she was very self-conscious. "I'M a prude and I do not like walking around naked," she said. "I was in my bathroom about two months after the movie finished and I just thought, 'Oh my God, I was half naked for two months.'"
