I saw CHICAGO in early January and I have to say that I was completely blown away...I had seen the stage musical back in '98 and I absolutely fell in love with the music, the dancing, and the plot...so needless to say, I had very high hopes for the film...well, much to my surprise, it met every one of my expectations...and then some!!!...it's nothing short of BRILLIANT!!!

It has to be one of the very best musicals ever made...it's seamless and fluid...not to mention the pure visual eye candy...this movie wipes the floor with Moulin Rouge!!!

In my opinion, Chicago and The Hours should share the title of best picture(s) of the year!!! (both are definitely among my favorite movies of all time!!!)

i liked it, just wish renee was heavier, shes too thin. i heard the producer wanted the actresses curvier, but that made no sense with her. but it was great.

btw violently awesome theme!

Yeah it was reported that Renee and Catherine were told to gain 20 lbs for the movie...doesn't look like Renee did to me...she still looks like a stick!

I just saw this movie the other day. It's the first movie I've seen in a movie theater in over a year. I've been wanting to see it for quite some time. It's an awesome movie! -- BTW, if you said it was better than the Moulin Rouge to my friend, she'd probably kill yah. LOL

yep, i thought it rocked. my favorite part was the puppeteer scene with Richard Gere and Renee Zellwegger....I thought that was so cute. Plus, the Roxie song and dance was really cute the day after I saw it, I went and bought the soundtrack.
