Do you mean digital cable or DSS ...they both in the digital 1080i if you have the proper tv set and the proper receivers.
I have digital cable with all the channels, including HDD HBOX , CINEMAX, Showtime.
all signals are in digital including sound and with all the proper Monster cables the image is sharp.
Now if i could get my hands on a NEON GAS PLASMA TV, i could re-route all cables for the ultimate quality...

OK...in Australia the free to air channels broadcast in a analog signal and a digital signal and to decode the digital signal you need a Digital Set Top Box. If you still dont know what im talking about go here ---> http://www.dba.org.au/
