Here's the synopsis:

"Bowling for Columbine" is an alternately humourous and horrifying film about the United States. It is a film about the state of the Union, about the violent soul of America. "Bowling for Columbine" was the first documentary film accepted into competition at the Cannes Film Festival in 46 years. The Cannes jury unanimously awarded it the 55th Anniversary Prize. From a look at the Columbine High School security camera tapes to the home of Oscar-winning NRA President Charlton Heston, from a young man who makes homemade napalm with The Anarchist's Cookbook to the murder of a six-year-old girl by another six-year-old, "Bowling for Columbine" is a journey through America, and through our past, hoping to discover why our pursuit of happiness is so riddled with violence.

Watched it this week, was very impressed with it.

Interesting point raised Moore that Americans are fearful of each other due to the media scare tactics, is the media coverage really that full on with the coverage of violence/murders etc.?

It is to a degree like that in Australia but the news tends to be dominated by political activity.

Excellent documentary i recommended it looks at different aspects of our lifestyles..and it tries to look for answers on why we are so violent witht the way of the gun.

One thing that surprised me.....a lot of people in Canada dont lock thier doors??
*calls cousing in ALBERTA to ask her if she locks her door...lol*

I have 3 locks on each of my 2 doors and everynight before i go to bed i triple check them lol
